Phinoj K Abraham

Master’s in Occupational Therapy (MOTh)., (Neurosciences)

Phinoj K Abraham, MOTh, (Neurosciences) is a clinical occupational therapist in the division of Occupational Therapy. He studied Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from KMCH College of Occupational Therapy at Coimbatore. He did his post-graduation in Occupational Therapy – Neuroscience at All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AIIPMR), Mumbai. He has developed an expertise in the philosophy and practice of Neurologic rehabilitation. He weaves his expertise in the area of adult neurologic rehabilitation.

He served as assistant professor of occupational therapy and clinical in charge of OT neuro-rehabilitation unit at SRM College of Occupational Therapy, a division of SRM University Chennai. He has chaired as coordinator of Golden jubilee Annual National Conference of All India Occupational Therapists Association – OTICON 2013. He currently serves as the Secretary of Kerala Branch of AIOTA. He was the recipient of ‘Kailesh Merchant Award’ for Best Scientific paper in Neuroscience in 2012 at 49th National Conference of AIOTA. He was the ‘Best Outgoing’ postgraduate student in occupational therapy from All India Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AIIPMR) in 2011.
